HairZing invented "Double Combs" and they hold in the same unique way. The first set of instructions below easily explain ALL Original Wire, Wide Eyelet, Essential Plastic & Comfy Combs.
S-t-r-e-t-c-h Banana Combs are only slightly different - their instructions are below traditional Double Combs.
Original Wire, Wide Eyelet, Essential Plastic & Comfy Combs:
Slide your fingers through the bands.
Your fingers should be on top of the arch of the comb.
Place your thumb on the underside of the comb.
Gather your hair into desired hairstyle.
With the teeth of the comb touching the scalp, slide the first comb in.
The arch of the comb should match the curve of your head.
While continuing to hold the first comb in place, stretch second comb towards opposite ear.
Flip the teeth downward and slide the second comb into hair.
When done, the teeth of the second comb should be against scalp and facing the teeth of the first comb.
Stretch Banana Combs:
With one hand on each comb, position the hinge of the Stretch Banana at the base of hairline. The curve of each comb fits against the curve of your head. Your fingers should be on top of the arch of the comb. Place your thumb on the underside of comb.
With teeth touching the scalp & your hair dropping between the jaws of the Stretch Banana, slide the 2 combs towards each other. The arch of comb matches the curve of your head. Stop sliding when it feels snug.
S-t-r-e-t-c-h the Top Loop (on left comb) over to the right. Slip the loop over the bead (top right comb) to close the Stretch Banana.
The Stretch Banana cord is made with multiple loops. For looser hold, use 1
st loop. For tighter grip, use 2nd loop.
STYLING: Position the Stretch Banana lower
on your head for sleek/less “poof” styles.
